Sasha Velez Florida Department of Agriculture - This is Sasha Velez.  Sasha is a supervisor with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.  Sasha is close friends with Tony McDowell, Luanne Stiles, Stuart Scott, Rick Strong, Gary Singleton and all of which play a huge role in the corruption surrounding my story.

Sasha Velez was observed by different investigators at different times giving Tony McDowell, her supervisor back massages.  Now, in the OIG Report, Velez and McDowell both denied it UNDER OATH, but nothing was ever pursued or done.  Is the OIG Corrupt or Incompetent?

IG INVESTIGATION:

Velez admitted to calling a subordinate derogatory names such as Dingleberry, Goofball, Stupid, loser etc… The OIG found her guilty of these acts.  Velez was never disciplined as these acts are certainly violations of department policy and Florida statute.  Calling a person a name!  At her age and position, is the definition of Conduct Unbecoming a State Employee.  But according to Tony McDowell, removing that employee, me, from the equation was discipline enough.  Maybe McDowell wanted to keep Velez around just in case his neck became stiff again.  But the most likely reason is that McDowell is corrupt or incompetent.  Either way, his decision was never questioned.  NOTE:  Meanwhile, while I am being reprimanded for events that cannot be proven or are made up.  I wonder, if I called my supervisor a dingleberry, goofball, stupid, loser..etc..  would I be written up for that?

Rubbing someones back in itself, even with your supervisor, may not be that bad.  However, when you lie about it, then it takes on an entirely different meaning.  What is Velez and McDowell hiding?  It is common knowledge that during special projects all investigators are to stay in a hotel.  Now, during the day we as investigators are out conducting investigations, but once again Velez stays back at the HOTEL with McDowell!  Why would this consistently happen?  What do they do ALL DAY at the hotel?  I have an idea, but don’t want to speculate.

During Velez’s time as a field investigator, she was afraid of conducting investigations at certain industries, her supervisor, Tony McDowell requested that other investigators conduct her job for her.  It is even said that she cried about the thought of doing so.  Now, under her job description, it is clear in pointing out that if you are unable or unwilling to conduct these type of job related duties, then you DO NOT meet the minimum qualifications.  Now, Velez clearly displays that she is unable to conduct her duties as required, and is treated differently due to the fact.  Again, Tony McDowell coming to take care of her.  Why is McDowell so persistant in taking care of Velez?  Bottom line, if you are unable to do your job, then you need to hire QUALIFIED personnel to do investigative work, not someone  who was a clerk in a bank.
